#2 Wilco - The Whole Love

Wilco - Art Of Almost (Live on Letterman) 

Making this years top album list was very hard.  This album and my number one album should be tied for first place in my head, however that’s not how lists work.  Really the only reason this album was second in this list was because I just didn’t listen to it as much.  All excuses aside The Whole Love is my favorite Wilco album.  This album combines all the best elements from previous albums and I love it.  After the past two albums I was worried that Wilco was set to be a Grandpa Folk band…not because I don’t like that…it was more because I really liked the experimental side of their earlier albums.  It was like they heard me and said “here’s an album that Matt would love.”  Well done sirs - M
